Signs Your Pet Needs to See an Emergency Vet
Some pet emergencies are very obvious and alarming, but others may be more subtle. Contact us or bring your pet in immediately if you observe any of the following:
- Having trouble breathing
- Ingested a toxin
- Has blood in urine, stool, or vomit
- Disoriented, not walking straight
- Has collapsed and/or lost consciousness
- Might have broken bones
- Continuous vomiting and/or diarrhea
- Bleeding from the nose, ears, or mouth
- Seems to be in a lot of pain (wincing when touched, whining, crying)
- Having difficulty urinating
